It is a snowy, rainy weekend and I will just stay inside and putter all weekend I think.
I started reading a new book this week called Into The Wilderness by Sara Donati. It is the first book in a series. It's a Historical Novel following the same family from England in the 1700's coming to America. So far it's great.
I made some progress on my stitching this week. I completed another row on Past & Present
I completed a few more Motif's on And A Garden Grew
And I did a bit more on my Memory Sampler
I have decided I LOVE to stitch on 40ct linen now, so I am selling most of my stash of 32ct Belfast. It will give me more $$$ to buy some 40ct. Makes sense to me.
I got another shipment of HDF silk threads this week, and bought a small chart that I want to make into a pincushion after I stitch it. Here they are
Look what I caught on camera leaving the yard! Wild turkey's come and eat the food that falls on the ground from the bird feeder. There was a whole line of them, but I just caught the end of the line.
Have a great weekend.
Nikki
