Progress being made

I have made a bit more progress on my Dorothy Walpole Sampler this past week. I usually stitch in the evenings after I get home from work, after supper is done and I watch TV for a couple of hours. Here is what it is looking like so far

Today my first grandchild, Zachary turned 18 years old ! Wow, does that make me feel old. I made him a cake and got him a card with some $$$, but when I went to drop it off, he was not even at home. He went up north with his dad snowmobiling for part of the week as his birthday gift.
so happy birthday Zach!

I cannot wait for episode 2 of Season 3 of Downton Abbey tonight. I am a huge fan of that show. Anyone else?
