Almost ready for Christmas

Are YOU ready for Christmas? I am, almost. I have a couple more things to pick up and I am done. This year the whole family is going up to our sons house in Bangor, and I don't even have to cook for the son, daughter in law and daughter are making the meal. I of course will bring my Ambrosia fruit salad that I make just at Christmas time. It is so good, and has whipped cream, and sour cream, and all kinds of fruits, fresh, frozen and canned. I don't really have a recipe, I just put it together and it has always been so good.

I have made a bit of progress on Dorothy, some of the top border and a few flowers and some of the first alphabet.

I just love the colors. I am using DMC and not silks, and have decided to use 2 strands for better coverage. The fabric is 36 count linen in color flax. This is a lot of fun to stitch.
